What we collect

Contact and identification details you give us when booking or writing to us: name, email, phone, country of residence, number of guests and date of the experience.
Information needed to run the experience safely, such as allergies or dietary restrictions, when you choose to tell us.
Browsing data collected by analytics tools: pages viewed, traffic source, device type and on-page behaviour (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, which may record clicks, scrolling and session replays). These tools do not collect your name or contact details.

Why we use it

To manage and confirm your booking, and to contact you before, during and after the experience.
To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
To improve the website and our experiences using aggregated information.
To send you marketing messages only if you authorise it, with the option to withdraw that authorisation at any time.

Your rights

To access, update and correct your personal data.
To request proof of the authorisation you gave.
To be told how your data has been used.
To complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio about breaches of the law.
To withdraw authorisation and request deletion, where no legal or contractual duty prevents it.
To access your personal data free of charge.

How to exercise them

Write to info@eatablestories.com with your request and something that identifies you. Enquiries are answered within ten (10) business days and complaints within fifteen (15) business days, extendable as the law allows.

Third parties and transfers

We share data only with providers that make the service possible: the booking and payment platform, email, and analytics tools. Some are outside Colombia, which involves an international transfer of data that you accept by accepting this policy.
When you book through Airbnb, the handling of your data on that platform is governed by Airbnb’s privacy policy.

Retention

Data is kept for the duration of the commercial relationship and afterwards for the periods required by Colombian accounting and tax law.
